Chippewa Falls, Wis. – Civic Media is pleased to announce its new weekday lineup and refreshed playlist for 105.7 FM WCFW, featuring Eau Claire broadcast veteran Mike McKay in mornings. Laura McKenna, Aaron Carreno, and Jay Roberts have also been added to the lineup as midday and afternoon hosts. Evenings include Wisconsin native Tony Lorino and his nationally syndicated show, “Throwback Nation Radio”.
“As heard on the station for decades, FM means ‘fine music’ – and with our refreshed music library and the addition of our on-air team, I’m delighted to present our listeners with the perfect balance of local content and song familiarity,” said Aaron Carreno, Civic Media’s Director of Operations.
“Mike McKay has made a tremendous impact on people and communities throughout Eau Claire and the entire Chippewa Valley” continued Carreno. “His enthusiasm and commitment to delivering great local radio is exactly what I was looking for to help lead this next chapter of WCFW.”
“I had multiple offers to move but the Chippewa Valley is our home, so the chance to wake up in the Valley again is awesome!” said Mike McKay. “Team that with being on an iconic radio signal and being part of a growing media network like Civic Media, that still believes in local radio is incredible. I couldn’t be happier!”
The station format will continue to be adult hits, playing songs from the 80’s, 90’s and more. Listen on WCFW, The CFW, Chippewa Falls, 105.7 FM or on the Civic Media App.
